It was Pinewood Derby Day! None of my boys won awards beyond participation ribbons, but Spidey’s car took second in every heat he was in. He had a great second place car!

In other news, there was a man there who looked so much like my husband that I took several pictures of him. But then, I was too chicken to ask if I could make him an internet icon, so you don’t get to see him.

February 21st was also the day of the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics. One of our Youth was involved, so there we were on the beach. It felt great to get sand between my toes again. I’ve missed the beach!! The weather was fine, but they say the water was mighty cold.
