10 Smiles for May 1st

  1. A clean tub and toilet.
  2. Spending 30 minutes in the tub
  3. Spending 30 minutes in the tub
  4. Spending 30 minutes in the tub.  This is not a mistake, I was in there for an HOUR AND A HALF.  It was *glorious.*  Thank you, Lee, for the bathbomb.
  5. Repairing the dishwasher.  This would have been easier if the people who always return my tools actually returned my tools, so I could have used a Phillips instead of a flat.  Amnesty is being offered in exchange for miraculous reappearance in the toolbox, peeps.  Make it happen.
  6. Figuring out what was wrong with my washer.  It just doesn’t want to extended spin.  This was simple enough, I just needed time to actually watch what the machine did and think about it.  Oops, that didn’t work as well as I thought.
  7. Setting up a third interview.  I am pretending I like the interview, but what I actually like is that this interview moves me forward on my goal.
  8. Setting up a baking center in the kitchen.
  9. Making maple-pecan peasant bread for an after-school snack.
  10. Holding my tongue.
  11. Finally having an empty coffee canister so I could empty and clean the deep fryer!
